Suggested Ride Routes
Northwest Route
90 miles, about 2 hours
Starting point: Beautiful downtown Pittston
All routes leave from the registration area on Main
Street in Pittston.  This one heads North to the Fort
Jenkins bridge over the Susquehanna and picks up
Route 92 N in West Pittston.

Route 92 N sweeps along the river with several
changes in elevation.  There are beautiful overlooks
all along the way into Tunkhannock, where the route
turns left onto Route 6 W for a short ride through the
town.  A left onto Route 29 S takes you out of
Tunkhannock, over the Susquehanna again, and
roughly follows Bowman's Creek, West of Harveys
Lake to Route 118 W.  Turn right onto 118 and past
Rickett's Glenn State Park.  A gentle left onto  Route
487 S leads through Benton to Orangeville.  At
Orangeville take Route 93 S into Berwick and Route
11 S.  It's just a short ride to Bandit's where Jake and
Elwood are waiting.

Southeast Route
75 Miles, about 2 hours
Shorter and tighter than the
Northwest Route, this one is for you
if you like twists, turns and
switchbacks.  South out of Pittston to
315 and onto Westminster Road,
you'll go through an old stone one
lane rail underpass (take care).
Right onto Pittston Road and climb to
the ridge on the east side of the
valley to 115 then over to Bear
Creek.  Right onto Whitehaven Road
along Bear Creek past the Walter
Resevoir and Dam down into
Whitehaven.  Take 940 W out of
Whitehaven to a left onto Lehigh
Gorge Drive.  Right onto Buck
Mountain Road then be sure to take
the left at the next fork down onto the
switchbacks into Weatherly.
Beanzie and his '69 Guzzi approach the rail underpass on
Westminster Road
Into the switchbacks...
Take Plains Road out of Weatherly onto
Route 93 N for a few miles to a right onto
Jeddo Mountain Road.  Then pick up 940 W
to 309 N and then left onto the Airport
Beltway.  From there pick up 93 N again that
sweeps all the way into Berwick.  A short
ride on 11 S brings you to Bandits
Roadhouse and the PARTY!
Overlook from Route 93 North
Northwest Short Route
42 miles, about 1 hour 10 minutes
From Pittston head south to 8th Street and cross
the river.  8th Street twists up to a left onto
Carverton Road.  Cross Route 309 onto Church
Street, right onto Hillside then a short distance to
a left onto Chase Road.  Chase Road ends at
Route 29 S which twists down to Route 11 S. Turn
left onto Route 11 S and ride along the
Susquehanna all the way into Berwick and
Bandits.
